Hield and the Dandelions

Hield and the Dandelions

£650.00Price

During this Spring I have become fascinated by dandelions. I can't stop drawing them everytime I think I have drawn one another pops up. They are a beautiful sight with their bright yellow petals after the long winter and as I have seen hares frequently in the fields near where I live sitting close to these lovely plants. The name of the hare is Hield which in old English means 'watching, secret place, guardian, protector..'
